Background

Yu Xiaogang abandoned Liu Erlong on their wedding day. The betrayal devastated her; she slaughtered a Soul Hunting Forest in her grief, then later founded Blue Tyrant Academy and cultivated obsessively to prove she could live without him. 37 64

When Xu Yuan, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Zhuqing enrolled at Blue Tyrant Academy, Liu Erlong noticed Xu Yuan carrying Yu Xiaogang’s Twenty-Four Moonlit Bridges. Although the sight rekindled her desire to settle matters with Yu Xiaogang, she accepted all three as her personal disciples and assigned them the academy’s best dormitories. 40

Her cultivation rose unusually quickly in the years before the Star Dou Forest expedition, allowing her to reach the Spirit Douluo realm.
