Aaron glanced at his phone and shut it off.
They were all garbage debt-collection texts. Calling him "sir" every other word, all sweetness and light—yet when it came time to act, they were vicious as hell!
He grumbled to himself. This was already the seventh day since he had awakened.
With 2,000 yuan to cover the rent, he no longer had to endure his landlady's Lion's Roar, but starting yesterday—apparently the repayment date universally recognized by this world—one collection message after another had come flooding in.
By today, it had become a full-on bombardment.
Aaron simply turned off his phone and looked up at the office building before him.
