Jujubes (Part 1)

Aaron returned home and checked his status panel:

He could not help but sigh. "Rumors may spread quickly, but sure enough, they lack credibility... There are over a hundred households in the village, more than a hundred people... and in the end, I only got 10 points."

This meant that many people still half-believed and half-doubted, so the influence was heavily diluted. Fortune points did not lie.

And after these 10 fortune points were used up tomorrow, whether another 10 would come in was anyone's guess.

Anyone who had eaten it knew that while a wild rabbit's hind leg had more meat, it was not as fragrant as the front leg!

He slowly grilled it, sprinkling on a little coarse salt now and then.

Before long, a roasted rabbit leg, charred and fragrant, was ready.

Still, after taking a bite, Aaron felt his cooking was not bad. The rabbit leg had been grilled to perfection.

He barely ate his fill, saving the remaining rabbit meat for dinner, then began considering tomorrow's meals.
