Personality

Tang San is intensely devoted to Xiao Wu. When the Titan Giant Ape abducts her, he disregards the danger and pursues it alone, later insisting that he must become stronger to fulfill his promise to protect her. 39 40

He is direct and curious, asking Feng Xinglie to disclose the secret behind his ability to absorb soul rings beyond conventional limits. When Feng declines, Tang San does not press the matter further after noticing the discomfort of the others. 23

Tang San values action and confrontation over avoidance. Arrival at Suotuo City and Shrek enrollment

Tang San arrives at the Rose Hotel with Xiao Wu and becomes involved in the dispute with Dai Mubai. Feng Xinglie intervenes, and Tang San later apologizes when Xiao Wu admits fault. 19

At Shrek Academy, he witnesses Feng Xinglie defeat Dai Mubai and questions the legitimacy of Feng's unusual soul-ring configuration. He subsequently enrolls and joins the entrance examination against Zhao Wuji. 21 23
