Zhang Shun came from an ordinary background, but his father was a martial artist and taught him from childhood. This early foundation let him advance faster than most peers, though he remained at the Tendon Opening Realm for nearly three years. At the Iron Thread Fist Martial Hall, he acted as Lin Qing’s mentor: sparring with him, explaining cultivation resources, and offering practical guidance on training. 12

After entering the Bone Forging Realm, Zhang Shun became an inner disciple. The promotion made him more reserved and status-conscious around outer disciples, but he continued to watch over Lin Qing and warned him against provoking the ruthless Feng Jianyun. 21 25
