Realm Structure

Blood Refining is the great watershed after Organ Cleansing. It transforms a martial artist's blood and qi into a denser, mercury-like force, granting vastly greater vitality, explosive strength, and the ability to manifest blood-energy phenomena externally 100.

Only martial artists who have completed Organ Cleansing are qualified to challenge Blood Refining. Success is described as transcending ordinary human limits; the next realm beyond perfected Blood Refining is Gang Refining, the realm of a Martial Saint 121 207.

Blood Refining methods determine a cultivator's potential. Once a method is chosen, its unique properties become imprinted upon the cultivator's blood and qi; changing paths normally requires crippling all specialized blood and qi and beginning again 150.
