Li Qingshan was originally a mortal from Peach Blossom Village with no spiritual root. After Zhou Taoyao found and gifted him a yellow-skinned gourd—the future Wish-Fulfilling Gourd—he gained a Heavenly Spiritual Root and entered the path of cultivation at one hundred years old. 438
