The Desadrian Gate lay in the deepest part of Commorragh, itself buried deep within the Webway. It was an extremely crucial strategic location, and Viktor, who had risen to power through it, naturally knew how to prevent others from doing the same.

Viktor had long wanted to move the gate somewhere safer, but the undertaking was enormous, and he had only recently completed the relocation.

The entire gate was housed inside a warehouse. There was only one straight, broad road leading to it, and that road floated above the "Void Abyss."

Before Commorragh became the home of the Dark Eldar, it had been a transit hub within the Webway.

It had inevitably assisted the trade vessels of the Aeldari Empire, sending all kinds of products—enough to get everyone in the entire Imperium wildly excited—to every corner of the Imperium. Thus, Commorragh possessed countless warehouses.

Those warehouses were unfathomably deep and vast. No one had ever measured their true size, but the Dark Eldar instinctively felt that every one of them seemed to contain as much space as an entire planet.

In short, within one such warehouse, the Desadrian Gate floated at its center. The so-called "road built over the Void Abyss" was not merely a cool name for a road. Those walking upon it truly felt as though they were treading through the void, for the depths below were bottomless.

The seemingly endless road leading into the warehouse was dotted with checkpoints and outposts of every size.

The small outpost just beyond the entrance to the road, as usual, intercepted and inspected every person and vehicle passing through.
