History

Huo Yuhao’s Enrollment

Huo Yuhao secures admission through his Life Crystal agreement with Tang Ya and Bei Bei. Zhao Ze regards Shrek’s cultivation resources as useful for building his disciple’s foundation, rather than treating academy membership as an end in itself 3 9.

Upon arrival, Huo Yuhao receives an enthusiastic welcome from senior female students. A confrontation at the dormitory entrance leads to Wang Dong’er’s disguise being exposed, drawing the involvement of Wang Yan and Mu En 10 11 13.

Mu En’s Recovery and the Cultivation Boom

Mu En purchases Huo Yuhao’s Life Crystal-infused excrement and consumes it, completely healing his old injuries, repairing his foundation, and extending his lifespan. Xuan Zi and the Sea God Pavilion elders regard the recovery of Shrek’s protective pillar as an enormous benefit to the academy 20 21.

Huo Yuhao subsequently presents the Talent Sharing Contract. With Mu En’s endorsement, over ninety percent of Shrek’s teachers and students sign within days. Cultivation activity intensifies, with roughly a dozen soul power breakthroughs reported daily 28 29.

Conflict and Cooperation with the Body Sect

Du Busi attempts to recruit Huo Yuhao, then threatens to raze Shrek when the boy refuses. Zhao Ze repels his initial attempt to seize Huo Yuhao, and Mu En returns with the elders to defend the student 30.

After Mu En defeats him, Du Busi asks to send Body Sect disciples to Shrek so they can access the Talent Sharing Contract and Life Crystals. Mu En welcomes sincere cooperation and identifies the Body Sect’s secondary-awakening methods as valuable knowledge for Huo Yuhao’s Spirit Eye. More than a dozen Body Sect geniuses subsequently join the academy 31 32.

The Expanded Freshman Assessment

Because Huo Yuhao’s strength far exceeds his peers, Shrek assigns him to face every freshman team alone. The academy offers him all assessment prizes if he wins; any team that defeats him can claim them instead 34.

The assessment expands from simultaneous freshman-team battles to twenty Outer Courtyard elites, then to challengers of any Outer Courtyard grade or cultivation level. Huo Yuhao defeats the challengers, including He Caitou, and is ultimately declared the winner. Mu En offers him Inner Courtyard core-disciple status, but he declines in favor of pursuing more advanced soul engineering abroad 39 40 41 44.

Sun Moon Exchange Program

Mu En initially opposes Huo Yuhao’s departure because of the hostility between Shrek and the Sun Moon Empire. He ultimately approves an exchange program involving ten students from each academy, subject to Huo Yuhao passing a three-day Star Dou Great Forest survival assessment 44 45.

Huo Yuhao passes, and Yan Shaozhe escorts Shrek’s ten Soul Guidance Department students to Maple Leaf City. Jing Hongchen receives them at the border before taking them to the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy 45 46.
