Background / History

Tang San was raised by his father, Tang Hao, and later became Yu Xiaogang's disciple at Shrek Academy. Yu Xiaogang regarded him as the proof that he was not useless and devoted himself to cultivating Tang San into a Titled Douluo. Tang San was notably disciplined in training and treated Yu Xiaogang with respect. 58 60

He retained knowledge from a previous life in the Tang Sect, including familiarity with the Heavenly Secret Sect and Tang Sect-style hidden weapons. His relationship with Xiao Wu developed quickly at Shrek Academy, where she continued to address him as “Brother San.” 57 116

After the Falling Cloud Sect exposed Tang Hao's raid on its Suotuo branch, Tang San learned that his father was the Clear Sky Douluo. He immediately regarded the Falling Cloud Sect as an enemy and became determined to protect Tang Hao and the Clear Sky Sect. 110
