Background / History
Tang San was raised by his father, Tang Hao, and later became Yu Xiaogang's disciple at Shrek Academy. Yu Xiaogang regarded him as the proof that he was not useless and devoted himself to cultivating Tang San into a Titled Douluo. Tang San was notably disciplined in training and treated Yu Xiaogang with respect. 58 60
He retained knowledge from a previous life in the Tang Sect, including familiarity with the Heavenly Secret Sect and Tang Sect-style hidden weapons. His relationship with Xiao Wu developed quickly at Shrek Academy, where she continued to address him as “Brother San.” 57 116
After the Falling Cloud Sect exposed Tang Hao's raid on its Suotuo branch, Tang San learned that his father was the Clear Sky Douluo. He immediately regarded the Falling Cloud Sect as an enemy and became determined to protect Tang Hao and the Clear Sky Sect. 110
Dugu Bo and Yang Wudi ambushed Tang San, Xiao Wu, and Tang Hao. Tang San injured Yang Wudi with Dragon Whisker Needles but was left unable to move after both shoulders were pierced by the Soul Breaking Spear. Tang Hao escaped with him by detonating soul rings. 111
While Tang Hao recovered from Dugu Bo's poison and old injuries, he gave Tang San a 50,000-year Earth Armored Dragon right leg bone. Tang Hao then guided him to awaken his true Blue Silver Emperor bloodline. 113 114
The Blue Silver King and the surrounding Blue Silver Grass recognized Tang San as their king. Their combined power awakened his martial soul, transformed his appearance, and generated an evolving 1,300-year soul ring based on the limits of his body. 115
Tang San witnessed Tang Hao's defeat and death at Di Tian's hands. His fury triggered an intervention by the Asura God's divine consciousness, which carried him to Slaughter City. Di Tian crippled Tang San's right leg and took his spirit bone during the confrontation. 118 119
In Slaughter City, Tang San confirmed his Clear Sky Sect lineage to Tang Chen, his great-grandfather. Tang Chen restored his right leg and began grooming him for godhood, while Tang San later underwent the Nine Trials of Asura. 119 120 158
Ling Yun eventually entered Slaughter City to eliminate Tang San and Tang Chen. With the Asura God having withdrawn his divine support, Tang San could not escape; Ling Yun forcibly extracted his soul and fed it to the Ten-Thousand Soul Banner. 158 161
Appearance
Following his Blue Silver Emperor awakening, Tang San's formerly unremarkable appearance changed dramatically. His hair became deep blue, and his features became exceptionally handsome. 115

Personality
Tang San is intelligent, vigilant, and highly resourceful under pressure. During Yang Wudi's ambush, he immediately deployed his hidden weapons in rapid succession, including Dragon Whisker Needles designed to penetrate protective energy. 111
He is deeply devoted to those he considers family or allies, particularly Tang Hao and Xiao Wu. Tang Hao's apparent injuries erased Tang San's resentment over his father's disappearance, while Tang San's later hatred of Ling Yun, Dugu Bo, and Di Tian was driven by Tang Hao's death. 112 118
His sense of justice is uncompromising and hostile toward enemies. He follows the Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record's principle that confirmed enemies who deserve death should not be spared. 118
