Long Qianyou is the son of Long Yudao, the Balaque Kingdom’s Imperial Preceptor and a level 97 Titled Douluo. He inherited the Long family’s Apocalypse Magic Dragon martial soul, a top-tier beast martial soul associated with the kingdom’s Magic Dragon Knights. 102 103 169

Long Qianyou remains composed under sudden battlefield crises. When Jialing Pass is struck from the rear, he immediately identifies the strategic implications, rallies scattered troops, and establishes a defensive counterattack rather than yielding to panic. 103

He is cautious, decisive, and strongly protective of his soldiers. After Jialing Pass becomes untenable, he abandons the objective of holding the fortress in favor of preserving as much of the army as possible for the defense of territory beyond the Tianling Mountain Range. 105

Defense and Fall of Jialing Pass

Long Qianyou senses that Jialing Pass is in danger and strengthens its defenses before the Heaven Dou Empire launches a surprise rear assault. 102

When the rear camp is engulfed in flames, he exits his command tent, rallies the defenders, and leads the counterattack personally. He confronts Wu Xuan and defeats him decisively in their duel, but Xiao Moheng’s arrival prevents him from delivering the final blow. 103 104

As the Iron Wall Spirit Guidance Legion collapses and the fortress is attacked from within and without, Long Qianyou accepts that Jialing Pass cannot be retained. He orders a retreat and breakout, leaving a rearguard to delay the enemy while preserving a force for continued resistance. 105

The breakout force is later trapped after Jialing Pass falls. Long Qianyou attempts to preserve morale and rejects Heaven Dou calls for surrender, insisting that only breaking through offers his soldiers a chance to survive. 107

Rebuilding the Balaque Defense

After the disaster at Jialing Pass, Long Qianyou becomes central to the Balaque Kingdom’s remaining defensive efforts. He receives and coordinates with the Sun Moon Empire-trained Ming Mechanists, recognizing their value as an elite force. 116 123

His defensive deployment proves effective against the Heaven Dou army. The Balaque forces exploit terrain, fortifications, ambushes, and the Ming Mechanists’ firepower to rout the Heaven Dou Spirit Guidance Legion and force a retreat. 120 123

Night Demon City Campaign

When the Heaven Dou Empire captures Night Return Gate and threatens Night Demon City, Long Qianyou quickly concentrates available troops at the gate. He requests the assistance of Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, treating the Martial Soul Hall Titled Douluo as critical allies. 157

Although initially reluctant, he accepts Elder Tianfeng’s plan to sacrifice ground and inflict crippling losses on the advancing Heaven Dou forces. 157
