After finishing a bowl of ramen, Yuhi Kurenai rubbed her slightly rounded belly.

"That was delicious!"

As she spoke, Yuhi Kurenai looked toward Uzumaki Kushina and pursed her lips in thanks.

"Big Sister Kushina, thank you for the treat~"

Perhaps because she had just finished eating, her voice was soft and sweet, instantly stirring a sense of protectiveness in anyone who heard it.

Hearing her voice, Uzumaki Kushina set down her chopsticks and broke into a smile.

"Kurenai is truly adorable. I really wish I had a child just like you." Uzumaki Kushina meant it from the bottom of her heart; she had felt this way the very first time she met Yuhi Kurenai.

"It would be wonderful if my future child were a girl as cute as Kurenai."

"Naruko!"

Uzumaki Kushina was stunned for a moment, then looked at Yuki Yuichi, realizing only after a few seconds that he was suggesting a name for her future child.

"If it's a girl as cute as Kurenai, I think the name Naruko is perfect!"

Yuhi Kurenai's face turned bright red at the words of Uzumaki Kushina and Yuki Yuichi, and she shyly lowered her little head.

Yuki Yuichi set down his own chopsticks, rubbed his stomach, and looked at Uzumaki Kushina. "Though, I feel like even if it's a boy, he could still be called Naruko."

"It would be great." Thinking of the Sexy Jutsu that Uzumaki Naruto would eventually develop, Yuki Yuichi couldn't help but add, "Maybe he could turn into a cute girl."

"Hmm?" Uzumaki Kushina's eyelids drooped as she stared at Yuki Yuichi.

Seemingly sensing the malice radiating from Uzumaki Kushina, Yuki Yuichi gave a light cough. "I was just joking."

"Hmph!"

"But if he wants to learn, I could teach him..."

Uzumaki Kushina's mood, which had just settled, was immediately thrown into chaos again.

What did he mean by "if he wants to learn, I could teach him"?

"I mean, as a powerful senior who is brave, upright, kind, and possesses the Will of Fire, I could teach him what true courage is when the time comes."

Uzumaki Kushina looked at him suspiciously. "You'd better be talking about that."

"The anthem of humanity is the anthem of courage! As the bravest person in Konoha, I am worthy of the title!" Yuki Yuichi patted his chest and spoke with righteous indignation.

Uzumaki Kushina looked at him, tilted her head, narrowed her eyes, and asked, "So, you're very brave, are you?"

"Don't joke, I'm super brave, okay!"

"Then I'll take you to the training ground to see just how brave you are."

Uzumaki Kushina chuckled, her hands pressing together and cracking her knuckles with a sound that was terrifying to behold.

Hearing this, Yuki Yuichi gave a sheepish smile. "I just remembered that Uncle Shinku is still waiting for us at home."

"We'll head back now. Thanks for the treat, Big Sister!" Yuki Yuichi said, grabbing Yuhi Kurenai's little hand and running outside.

Seeing him flee as if his life depended on it, Uzumaki Kushina huffed. "Little brat, trying to mess with me."

"Heh, it seems our guest really likes children," Teuchi said as he cleared away the bowls Yuki Yuichi and Yuhi Kurenai had used, smiling at Uzumaki Kushina.

"Whew~" Uzumaki Kushina let out a slow breath, her eyes curving into crescent moons as she smiled. "Children are adorable, aren't they?"

"That they are." Teuchi nodded in agreement. "I envy their energy."

As he spoke, Teuchi glanced outside, as if trying to see through the hanging curtains to the scene beyond.

"Finished. Time to go." Uzumaki Kushina placed the money on the table and left.

Shortly after she departed, Hatake Sakumo walked in with Kakashi, saying, "Kakashi, Yuichi and Kurenai just ran out. Why didn't you go say hello?"

"I'm not going!" Kakashi said with a pout, still sporting a few bruises from being beaten earlier.

The two sat down in the seats just vacated by Yuki Yuichi and Yuhi Kurenai.

People come and go, but some things never change.

From this moment on, Ichiraku Ramen would bear witness to the lives of most of Konoha's powerhouses.

After bolting out of Ichiraku Ramen, Yuki Yuichi took Yuhi Kurenai and strolled slowly toward home.

Not long after they had run out, he realized Uzumaki Kushina hadn't chased after them, so he knew she had just been trying to scare him; naturally, there was no need to rush.

"We're home~"

When they arrived, Yuhi Shinku was sitting in the living room watching television.

Seeing them return, he smiled immediately. "Hungry? I made dinner; it's right there."

Yuhi Shinku pointed to the meal set on the other table and continued, "I have something to tell you both after you eat."

"Dad, we already ate~" Yuhi Kurenai pointed to her still-glossy lips, which were coated in oil.

"Hmm? You ate?" Yuhi Shinku was taken aback, scratching his head in confusion.

"Yeah!" Yuhi Kurenai nodded vigorously, looking happy. "Big Sister Kushina treated us to ramen!"

"It's so delicious!"

Yuki Yuichi nodded from the side, and only when Yuhi Shinku looked his way did he speak in a lingering tone, "Yeah, I only just found out today that I actually have the bloodline of the Uzumaki Clan."

"Oh? You know now?" Upon hearing this, Yuhi Shinku showed no surprise; Yuki Yuichi's bloodline was no secret among the upper echelons.

It was only a matter of time before he found out.

"Since you've both finished eating, I'll start right away." Yuhi Shinku turned off the television, then sat up straight and gestured for Yuki Yuichi and Yuhi Kurenai to take their seats.

He then looked at Yuki Yuichi with a serious expression and began, "That's right, you possess the bloodline of the Uzumaki Clan."

"I had intended to tell you today, but I didn't expect Kushina to have told you already. Still, it isn't too late to tell you now."

"Your hair color and your superhuman recovery rate are the hallmarks of the Uzumaki Clan's Kekkei Genkai."

Yuki Yuichi was stunned upon hearing this, his shock stemming from the implications of Yuhi Shinku's words.

Ever since he had obtained the Uzumaki bloodline through an achievement mission, he had been growing stronger every single day.

He had originally assumed that Yuhi Shinku was observing him, but it turned out the man hadn't been concerned at all.

Then again, it made sense; if one already possessed the Uzumaki bloodline, why would it be strange for their hair to suddenly turn red or for their physique and recovery abilities to grow increasingly powerful?

Just as he was thinking this, Yuhi Shinku continued, "Possessing the Uzumaki bloodline means your talent will be greater than that of an ordinary person."

"But did Kushina tell you that you possess more than just the bloodline of the Uzumaki Clan?"

Yuhi Shinku's words left Yuki Yuichi stunned once more, and he pointed at himself in disbelief.

"What do you mean by 'more than just the bloodline of the Uzumaki Clan'?"

"Exactly what it sounds like." Yuhi Shinku glanced at Yuki Yuichi, then offered a smile to Yuhi Kurenai.

"Your father's name is Yuki Seisui, but his former name was Uzumaki Seisui."

"And your mother's name is Yuki Haru, but her former name was Uchiha Haru."

"Do you understand now?"
