"I will definitely beat you into the dirt!" Uchiha Obito clenched his fists and shouted, "And Kakashi too! Lord Obito is invincible!"

Yuki Yuichi didn't take it to heart and turned to leave, but then his footsteps faltered.

Yuki Yuichi truly hadn't expected Uchiha Obito to trigger an achievement just by acting like that.

"A promise, huh..." Yuki Yuichi muttered, the words Uchiha Obito had just spoken echoing in his ears.

He had heard similar things from many people he had beaten up before, so he hadn't reacted much when Uchiha Obito said it, assuming it was just more tough talk like the others.

But why hadn't those people triggered an achievement, yet Uchiha Obito did?

Yuki Yuichi rubbed his chin and looked at Uchiha Obito, whose intense gaze made him take a few steps back.

"Is he into me or something?" Uchiha Obito felt his backside tighten in fear and quietly edged closer to Nohara Rin.

Coming back to his senses, Yuki Yuichi looked at Uchiha Obito and flashed a brilliant smile.

Just as Uchiha Obito was preparing to grab Nohara Rin and run, Yuki Yuichi's brilliant smile vanished in an instant. "Those who fall by my hand are never considered rivals by me."

"You're twenty thousand years too early to defeat me!"

Upon hearing this, Uchiha Obito forgot all about Yuki Yuichi's earlier gaze and glared at him, fists clenched tight.

"You arrogant jerk!"

"Just wait until I awaken my Kekkei Genkai, I'll definitely beat you then!"

"We'll see." Yuki Yuichi shrugged, looked at Might Guy nearby, and pulled him aside.

Uchiha Obito watched them go, still feeling incredibly indignant.

"What an arrogant guy!"

"Obito, are you alright?" Nohara Rin walked over to his side and pulled some bandages from her pocket.

"It's a good thing I always carry bandages for practice, otherwise this injury would be a real problem."

As she spoke, Nohara Rin pulled Uchiha Obito down to sit nearby, complaining while she treated his wounds.

"Yuichi-kun is much stronger than you. You could have waited until you trained harder before challenging him; why did you have to do it now?"

Uchiha Obito's face flushed red as he watched Nohara Rin bandaging him with such focus. He turned his head away and muttered, "It's not like I had a choice with Rin here."

"Obito!" Nohara Rin was right beside him and heard him clearly, causing her to get a little angry.

Seeing her anger, Uchiha Obito quickly promised, "I know I was wrong! I'll train hard and challenge that arrogant guy later!"

"Hmph, if you do this again, I'm ignoring you!"

Uchiha Obito gave a quick assurance, then pulled a bottle of eye drops from his pocket.

"As long as I take good care of my eyes, I'll definitely be able to awaken the Sharingan, and then I'll go challenge Yuki Yuichi again!" Uchiha Obito said, lifting his chin and carefully applying the eye drops.

Nohara Rin, having just finished bandaging him, asked curiously, "Obito, is this Sharingan you're talking about really that amazing?"

Nohara Rin's question drew the other friends nearby to gather around.

They were all children from civilian families like Nohara Rin; they knew about ninjas and some basic ninja lore, but they had never even heard of things like Kekkei Genkai.

It was only after meeting Uchiha Obito that they learned such special existences existed among ninjas.

Now that Nohara Rin had asked the question they were all curious about, they naturally crowded in to listen.

Hearing Nohara Rin's inquiry and seeing the curious gazes of his friends, Uchiha Obito immediately stood up on the spot where he had been sitting.

"Of course it is!"

"The Sharingan is the strongest ocular jutsu in the ninja world! Just by awakening it, you possess the strength of a Genin!"

"Above that, there are the two-tomoe and three-tomoe Sharingan, representing Chunin and Jonin levels!"

"Is there anything above the three-tomoe?"

Yuki Yuichi had wandered over at some point, and upon hearing Uchiha Obito's words, he couldn't help but pick a fight.

Seeing Yuki Yuichi ask, Uchiha Obito immediately grew smug, "Three Tomoe is already Jonin level; naturally, there is nothing above that!"

"Really?"

"I don't believe it."

Yuki Yuichi shook his head and said, "I feel like there must be other eyes beyond the Three Tomoe Sharingan."

"Impossible!" Uchiha Obito retorted, "As a member of the Uchiha clan, how could I not know whether there are eyes above the Three Tomoe?"

Seeing that Yuki Yuichi still looked unconvinced, Uchiha Obito gritted his teeth and declared, "If there really are eyes above the Three Tomoe Sharingan, I'll jump off the cliff at Naka River with you right now!"

Hearing Uchiha Obito's harsh vow, Yuki Yuichi wore a strange expression; is this kid trying to cosplay Uchiha Shisui?

Might Guy stood to the side, feeling distressed and unsure of what to do as he watched the conversation between Yuki Yuichi and Uchiha Obito.

He had known Yuki Yuichi for a longer time and was well aware that his personality was a bit erratic and his tongue was sharp, but he was still a good person at heart.

To put it nicely, Yuki Yuichi was someone with a sharp tongue but a soft heart; to put it bluntly, he was a contrarian.

Just as Might Guy was feeling troubled, Yuki Yuichi spotted something in Uchiha Obito's hand and looked him up and down.

"Can you lend me that eye drop..." Yuki Yuichi pointed at the eye drops in Uchiha Obito's hand.

He was about to hit this kid with something ruthless.

Hearing his request, Uchiha Obito looked down at his eye drops and tossed them casually to Yuki Yuichi.

"Here."

"Is your eyesight bad?"

Uchiha Obito asked with some concern. Although Yuki Yuichi had beaten him up, he didn't hold a grudge; instead, he was worried about Yuki Yuichi's eyes.

After all, apart from him, Uchiha Obito, people who used eye drops usually didn't have very good vision.

"Seeing your method of using eye drops to try and awaken the Sharingan, it seems pretty good, so I want to give it a try too."
