Unlocking the Sharingan!

"Huh?!" Uchiha Obito nearly fell off his stool upon hearing those words, staring at him with a face full of disbelief.

It wasn't just him; the other brats nearby were also looking at him as if he had lost his mind.

"Why are you all staring at me?"

Yuki Yuichi said this while tilting his head back, letting eye drops fall into his eyes.

Seeing Yuki Yuichi's actions, Nohara Rin placed her hands over her chest, not quite sure how to bring it up.

"Yuichi-kun, the Sharingan is something only members of the Uchiha Clan can awaken."

Feeling the cooling sensation in his eyes, Yuki Yuichi tossed the eye drops back to Uchiha Obito.

"It doesn't hurt to try."

"What if it works?"

"How is that even possible!" Uchiha Obito immediately jumped up to mock him. "How could you possibly awak—uh..."

Before he could finish his sentence, he saw Yuki Yuichi close his eyes and open them again, revealing a pair of Sharingan.

"You! You! You!!!"

"How could you possibly activate the Sharingan!"

Uchiha Obito pointed at him with a trembling finger, his eyes filled with sheer incredulity.

Upon activating the Sharingan for the first time, Yuki Yuichi only felt that his eyes, already cooled by the drops, felt even more refreshed.

The world in his vision had changed; the colors were more vivid, and at the same time, everyone's movements seemed to have slowed down.

The insects crawling on a distant tree were visible to him in perfect detail.

This was the Sharingan, possessing the abilities of the Hypnotic Eye, the Insight Eye, and the Copy Eye.

He had inherited Uchiha Sasuke's 1.5-tomoe Sharingan, so he could only manage insight and auxiliary hypnosis.

Though, rather than calling it hypnosis, it was more like assisting in the execution of genjutsu.

As for wanting to copy ninjutsu like Kakashi in the original story, that would require three tomoe.

One tomoe represents insight, two tomoe represent hypnosis, and three tomoe represent copying.

Although one could technically possess all three abilities starting from one tomoe, the power of a single tomoe was too weak; forget ninjutsu, copying taijutsu was the absolute limit.

Uchiha Obito was currently lost in a daze.

He was a low-ranking member of the Uchiha Clan and didn't know much about the Sharingan, only that it was divided into one, two, and three tomoe.

But even so, he knew that to awaken the Sharingan, one had to have Uchiha blood.

Seeing Uchiha Obito's expression, Yuki Yuichi chuckled, "To activate the Sharingan, isn't having eyes enough?"

Yuki Yuichi's words were like a sharp blade piercing Uchiha Obito's heart.

Could eye drops actually be useful? Uchiha Obito muttered to himself.

For a naturally evil little Uchiha brat like this, one had to strike him down hard!

He had just been messing around with Might Guy on the side.

The achievement reward wasn't exactly what he had expected, but accidentally completing an achievement through Uchiha Obito was a pleasant surprise.

Yuki Yuichi said a few words to the group and left directly.

Ever since he obtained the Uchiha Sasuke template, he had been thinking about how to reasonably reveal the Sharingan.

As it turned out, the way he triggered the achievement after experimenting with Might Guy, combined with hearing Uchiha Obito's words and seeing him use eye drops, provided the perfect opportunity.

So, he simply used Uchiha Obito's eye drops as a cover to reveal the Sharingan.

Using eye drops to awaken the Sharingan—that's not too much of a stretch, right?

As for Danzo and Sarutobi Hiruzen, he wasn't worried at all.

Ever since he learned that his father was from the Uzumaki Clan, he knew that he couldn't be snatched away by that old geezer Danzo in Konoha.

Uncle Yuhi Shinku, Uzumaki Kushina, Minato Namikaze, and even the Uchiha and Jiraiya would protect him.

Sarutobi Hiruzen would also, in all likelihood, not let Danzo lay a hand on him.

What was there to be afraid of?

Exposing the Sharingan carried some risk, but then again, people could choke to death just drinking water. If he were afraid of even this little bit of risk and hid his abilities, he might as well be dead.

In Konoha, Uzumaki Kushina was his greatest backer!

As long as they weren't stupid, no one would want to sour their relationship with a jinchuriki over him.

Yuki Yuichi pondered as he walked, and soon he arrived home.

Yuhi Shinku was still watching television.

And Yuhi Kurenai was sitting obediently to the side, eating fruit and keeping him company.

Hearing the knock on the door, Yuhi Kurenai immediately dropped the fruit in her hand and ran toward the entrance. "Yuichi!"

Seeing his daughter's reaction, Yuhi Shinku lay back on his chair, feeling like his life had lost all meaning.

Seriously, who can relate to this?

He raised a blond—no, wait, he raised a redhead, only for the kid to go and hook up with his daughter.

"I'm home!"

"Oh." Yuhi Shinku stared at the television with a blank expression, his mind in complete turmoil.

The mere thought of how happy his daughter had looked just moments ago made him miserable.

To the point that, right now, he didn't even want to look at Yuki Yuichi.

Yuki Yuichi didn't seem to mind, walking right up in front of the television. "Uncle Shinku!"

"Yeah, yeah, I know you're back, now move aside." Yuhi Shinku sighed.

"Look at this, what is it?"

Yuki Yuichi pointed to his own eyes and then activated the Sharingan.

His originally pitch-black pupils quickly turned red, and then a single tomoe emerged around the pupil.

The other eye revealed two tomoe.

"Sigh." Yuhi Shinku sighed once more, then followed the direction of his finger.

The previously lethargic Yuhi Shinku, who had looked like he had lost all will to live, stood up in an instant.

"The Sharingan?!"

"When did you awaken the Sharingan?" Yuhi Shinku looked at Yuki Yuichi, his brows furrowing.

He had only just finished explaining the Sharingan and the Uchiha clan to this kid, and now he had awakened it?

At that thought, Yuhi Shinku's expression shifted; surely this kid didn't slaughter a close friend just to awaken the Sharingan, did he?

"It just awakened a moment ago."

Yuki Yuichi, unaware of his thoughts, continued to look at him with his Sharingan active.

"How did you awaken it?" Yuhi Shinku's expression turned serious, his tone laced with urgency.

If things were truly as he feared, he would need to rush off to dispose of the evidence, and the sooner, the better.

Seeing his reaction, Yuki Yuichi was confused, but he still recounted the incident with Uchiha Obito exactly as it happened.

He did, however, omit the part where he beat him up, claiming instead that he had accidentally awakened the Sharingan after using Uchiha Obito's eye drops.

After hearing Yuki Yuichi finish his story, Yuhi Shinku gave him a strange look, his face twisted as if he were constipated.

He had seen many Uchiha who worked hard to awaken the Sharingan or to gain an extra tomoe, often by taking on dangerous missions.

If the way this kid awakened his Sharingan were to get out, it would probably cause a massive mental breakdown for a whole lot of people.

As Yuhi Shinku thought about it, he couldn't help but start to laugh.

What did their mental breakdowns have to do with him? If things like this happened, the more they broke down, the better.

"Good lad, I knew I hadn't misjudged you!" Yuhi Shinku patted him on the shoulder.

"I've always said you would definitely become a powerful ninja one day."

Watching Yuhi Shinku's lightning-fast change in attitude, Yuki Yuichi didn't even know how to process the absurdity of it all.

Did you pay two thousand ryo to Jiraiya to learn how to change your face like that?
