"He's coming, he's coming!"
"What do we do, what do we do?!"
The entire classroom was watching Yuki Yuichi and Yuhi Kurenai, but in the corner, two boys who looked a bit like delinquents were trembling in terror.
"He isn't going to beat us up here, is he?"
"He shouldn't, right?" One of the boys couldn't help but swallow hard, his legs shaking with fear.
The moment they saw Yuki Yuichi, they were reminded of the past.
Back then, they had been playing with their friends when they saw Might Guy and decided to mock him.
As a result, they ran into this guy, who didn't say a word before charging in to pummel them.
The kicker was that the four or five of them couldn't even beat him alone.
Ever since then, he had been their living nightmare.
Whenever they ran into this guy named Yuki Yuichi on the street, no matter what they were doing, they would get dragged off and beaten up.
Telling their parents was useless; in fact, once their parents found out, they were forced to go and thank him.
Who could even make sense of that?
As Yuki Yuichi pulled Yuhi Kurenai forward step by step, the fear in the two boys' hearts grew ever larger.
"Two classmates, long time no see." Yuki Yuichi looked at them and smiled.
"Uh... long... long time no see..."
"It's been so long, what are you two doing sitting in our seats?" Yuki Yuichi walked up to them and frowned slightly.
"Have you forgotten the virtues I taught you?"
The two boys swallowed hard, then replied tremblingly, "No, we haven't forgotten!"
With that, the two scrambled out of their seats as if fleeing for their lives, and Yuki Yuichi nodded in satisfaction.
These two were truly sensible; they left after just one sentence. It was worth the effort he'd spent teaching them the "virtues of a gentleman" earlier.
Look at that, they learned so quickly.
When he first walked in and saw there were no seats, Yuki Yuichi had spotted these two "old acquaintances." What a coincidence, right?
He had seen them mocking Might Guy before and couldn't help but beat them up, and they actually had the nerve to run home and complain to their parents.
Hilarious. Did complaining ever work?
Clearly, it did not.
When their parents came to cause trouble, Yuki Yuichi had naturally invoked the name of Yuhi Shinku, who was away on a mission at the time, and told them with a righteous expression:
This was a ninja training method designed by Yuhi Shinku specifically for him. To become a ninja, one had to endure these things and withstand training that ordinary people could not bear.
Only then would they not easily sacrifice themselves during missions in the future.
In Konoha, there were basically no civilians who didn't want to become ninjas.
Even if they couldn't become ninjas themselves, they hoped their children would.
After Yuki Yuichi claimed this was a training method specifically formulated by the jonin Yuhi Shinku, those parents who had come to cause trouble even thanked him with joyful expressions.
"Yuichi, is this really okay?" Yuhi Kurenai looked at Yuki Yuichi timidly, her small face full of worry.
"Dad said we shouldn't cause trouble."
"It's fine." Yuki Yuichi pushed Yuhi Kurenai to sit on the side against the wall, then sat down next to her.
"Uncle Shinku said we shouldn't cause trouble."
"But we aren't causing trouble. They volunteered to give us their seats."
"Isn't that right, you two?" Yuki Yuichi said, looking up at the two who hadn't gone far yet, and smiled.
"I didn't force you, did I?"
Hearing Yuki Yuichi's words, the two who had just given up their seats hurriedly shook their heads in denial, terrified that they would get beaten if they were too slow.
"No, absolutely not!"
"You are a good person who teaches us to cultivate virtue; how could you possibly do something like stealing seats!"
"See? They gave us their seats voluntarily." Yuki Yuichi patted Yuhi Kurenai's little head.
"There are still many good people in Konoha."
"Not everyone is as short-tempered as Uncle Shinku."
"Oh." Yuhi Kurenai nodded, half-understanding.
She didn't refute Yuki Yuichi's claim that her father had a short temper; in her opinion, it was indeed a bit true.
He liked to flick Yuichi's head at the drop of a hat, which she hated the most.
Just as they were whispering to each other, a middle-aged man wearing glasses walked in through the door.
Looking at the crowd below the podium, he couldn't help but cough lightly, then tapped the podium a few times to signal everyone to quiet down.
Once the classroom had quieted down, he finally spoke to introduce himself: "Hello everyone, I am your homeroom teacher."
"In the days to come, I will be the one teaching you all the knowledge of a ninja."
"My name is Umino Ikkaku, I like eating three-colored dango, I hate butterflies, and my dream is to become a responsible teacher."
"Hello, Teacher!" Yuki Yuichi was the first to stand up and offer his greetings.
Amidst the crowd, Kakashi rolled his dead-fish eyes, suddenly feeling speechless for reasons he couldn't quite explain.
When Umino Ikkaku saw Yuki Yuichi stand up, he looked over, and their gazes met in the air.
In just that brief encounter, Umino Ikkaku could tell from his years of teaching experience that this was a troublemaker.
Yuki Yuichi, however, was not thinking nearly as much as the teacher was.
Upon hearing the name Umino Ikkaku, he immediately associated it with Iruka, the mentor of the Seventh Hokage.
This must be the father of Umino Iruka.
"Ahem." Umino Ikkaku exchanged a look with Yuki Yuichi, then gave two light coughs. "There is no need for such a formal welcome."
"Let us begin the self-introductions now!"
As Umino Ikkaku spoke, he scanned the room and asked, "Who would like to go first?"
"Are there any volunteers?"
"Me!" No sooner had Umino Ikkaku finished speaking than a boy wearing goggles and the Uchiha clan crest on his back rushed to the podium.
Umino Ikkaku: "..."
It seemed there were quite a few troublemakers in this class...
"My name is Uchiha Obito, I hate eating green peppers, and I like..." Uchiha Obito paused here, then continued, "I like eating ramen."
"My dream is to become the Fourth Hokage!"
"I will definitely become the Hokage!"
"Hahahahaha!"
Uchiha Obito laughed wildly in front of the podium, but then a jarring voice rang out from within the classroom.
"Stop dreaming! You can't just become Hokage because you say you will!"
A boy who looked like a monkey stood up to retort, "I am the one who will be the next Hokage!"
"My name is Sarutobi Asuma, and I will definitely prove my strength!"
Yuki Yuichi watched from the back and clicked his tongue; Asuma at this age was still just a rebellious, chuunibyou teenager.
"You jerk! I will definitely prove it to you all; I will be the first Uchiha to become Hokage!" Uchiha Obito stomped his feet in frustration.
"Alright, alright, Obito, go back to your seat first." Umino Ikkaku felt like his head was about to explode.
He hadn't even been in the classroom for five minutes, and he had already discovered three troublemakers.
Folks, does anyone understand my pain?
