The narrative features multiple parallel-world Dios. Lin Qing first encounters a Dio as the opponent of Star Platinum's evolution trial in Cairo. Dio initially dismisses Lin Qing's Ripple and ability to move during stopped time, but is ultimately defeated after a destructive battle across the city. 79 80 81
