Background / History
Tong Yang introduced Zhuge Tao to Luo Zhe after Luo Zhe's first Genetic Origin Energy cultivation produced a nearly 5,000-kilogram increase in punching power. Zhuge Tao initially regarded the 21-year-old Quasi-Martial Artist as merely promising, but the test results changed his mind. He agreed to seek a Special Training Contract and summoned Luo Zhe for a review 8.
After confirming Luo Zhe's abilities, Zhuge Tao signed him to the Extreme Martial Arts Hall and offered access to a warrior villa, startup funds, and training manuals. He warned Luo Zhe that poor results in the Martial Artist Combat Assessment could cost him a training-camp place 11 12. When Luo Zhe was detained after striking Wan Dong during that assessment, Zhuge Tao demanded the full surveillance footage and defended him against accusations from the Thunder Martial Arts Hall. He later praised Luo Zhe's decision to protect himself and his charge, while scolding him for accepting a protection fee 28 30 31.
Zhuge Tao also joined Tong Yang's plan to take control of the Tong Family's wealth. After the plan failed and the family captured Tong Yang, Zhuge Tao tried unsuccessfully to secure his release, even appealing to his elder brother Zhuge Shan 60. He continued to advocate for Luo Zhe: headquarters approved the Special Training Contract, and Zhuge Tao promised to help him reach the Elite Training Camp if he mastered the second fold of the Nine-Fold Thunder Blade before the envoy arrived 51 52. Following Luo Zhe's rise to the War God Palace's highest council, Zhuge Tao was transferred to the Extreme Martial Arts Hall's Global Headquarters to specialize in finding talented martial artists 123.
