History

At Su Li's birth, more than ten Immortal Kings gathered within the Imperial Palace to witness the unprecedented infant, whom Wuzhong identified as a natural, flawless Supreme. Six Paths Reincarnation publicly accepted all karma connected to the child as his own. 2

When the Reincarnation Emperor emerged from the River of Time, his pressure overwhelmed all beings below the Immortal King realm. Even the assembled Kings had to combine their power into a defensive barrier and still found themselves nearly unable to move. 2 After the Emperor merged with Su Li, the Immortal Kings recognized that the infant possessed authority over the Primal Ancient Realm that surpassed their own. 3

The event drew Immortal Kings from both the Immortal Domain and the Foreign Realm. The Immortal Domain's Kings arrived in person at the Primal Ancient Realm's border, ostensibly to congratulate Six Paths Reincarnation and meet Su Li. Wuzhong and Six Paths Reincarnation refused them entry, declaring Su Li to be the reincarnation of an Emperor and the future leader of the Ancient Realm. 4

The confrontation escalated when Ao Sheng's power abruptly surged. The Kings attempted to subdue him with the Kirin Demon-Suppressing Statue, but he destroyed its core. 5 After falling fully into darkness, Ao Sheng fought dozens of Immortal Kings at once, destroyed or damaged their artifacts, and demonstrated strength believed to have surpassed the Immortal King realm. 7 8

Chi Yi's Spirit Body ultimately suppressed Ao Sheng, restored the wounded Immortal Kings to their peak states, and left Sanqing with the formation needed to hold him. 10 During Ao Sheng's subsequent trial, the Kings weighed his former service against his corruption; his giant-level cultivation was reduced to ordinary Immortal King level, and he was bound by a life-and-death pact to the Primal Ancient Realm. 11

Later, the Immortal Kings supported Su Li's ascent by preaching the Immortal Dao, presenting him with treasures, and holding a banquet in celebration of his attainment of the True Immortal realm. 33 36 Their unity was tested again when the Ancestral Sacrificial Spirit revealed a future in which the Primal Ancient Realm would fall to darkness and its Immortal Kings would die or become corrupted on the battlefield. 38 39

During the war with the Foreign Realm, the Immortal Kings defended the Imperial Pass and faced opposing Kings including Kundi and Wushang. Six Paths Reincarnation aided Green Lotus against Kundi, while Wushang's law-immune halberd and the Foreign Realm's Seal the Emperor secret technique divided the battlefield and isolated the Imperial Pass. 48 49 50
