Background / History

Hui is Chuanhe’s son and an Uchiha child raised under an unusual education centered on chakra theory, matter, energy, and dimensional phenomena. He initially resents the theoretical lessons, wanting only practical ninjutsu, but changes his view after independently attempting to recreate the Water Mirror Technique through the basic Clone Technique. 1 2

Although he presents himself as Chuanhe’s healthy son, Hui is shown a frail original body preserved inside a cylindrical tank. Chuanhe explains that Hui had been born severely ill, while Hui’s mother, Yuki, remains sealed elsewhere at that time. 20

His early dream is to protect Chuanhe; he later expands it to protecting everyone important to him. Witnessing Root’s treatment of children transforms that instinct into a broader wish to end war and achieve peace. 6 21 46
