Han Feng is ambitious, opportunistic, and accustomed to leveraging both his influence and hidden support to obtain rare resources. His assault on Jia Nan Academy was driven by his desire to seize its Heavenly Flame, and he continued seeking allies for a renewed campaign after his initial retreat. 102 147

He consistently underestimates opponents he views as weaker, particularly Li Xingluo. During their duel, Han Feng initially dismisses Li Xingluo as a mere low-star Dou Emperor, only to grow frustrated when he cannot secure an advantage. 151 152

Assault on Jia Nan Academy

Han Feng leads the Black Alliance to Jia Nan Academy after detecting the aura of a Heavenly Flame from the Heaven Burning Qi Refining Tower. He openly demands that Su Qian surrender it, believing the academy is wasting its potential. 102

The academy withstands the attack after Li Xingluo emerges from the tower and joins the battle. Seeing his forces lose momentum, Han Feng orders a retreat while promising to return. 103

Renewed Campaign Against the Academy

Han Feng continues pursuing the academy's Heavenly Flame and sends representatives to recruit the Rakshasa Sect. 147 His plans prompt Li Xingluo to build an opposing coalition with Jia Nan Academy, the Black Emperor Sect, and the Rakshasa Sect. 146 148 150

At Maple City, Han Feng is confronted by the alliance. Li Xingluo manipulates Mo Tianxing's grief over Mo Ya's death into open hostility against him, preventing Han Feng from explaining himself before the battle begins. 150

Defeat and Death

Overwhelmed by Mo Tianxing, Han Feng summons Guardian Xuan and escapes the immediate battle. Li Xingluo then draws him away from Maple City and challenges him alone. 151

Han Feng initially gains no decisive advantage despite his higher realm. Li Xingluo uses the Spirit Summoning Technique to create an equal-strength puppet, which breaks Han Feng's defense and inflicts a severe wound. 152

Han Feng's final Sea Heart Flame attack is reflected by the Emperor Cauldron. Li Xingluo kills his body with a Dou Qi sword, captures his fleeing soul, and forces him to surrender the Sea Heart Flame. 153 154 After removing the flame's residual imprint, Li Xingluo destroys Han Feng's soul body permanently. 155
