Background

Before entering the cultivation world, Lin Chuan was a twenty-year-old college student. While preparing to attend an anime convention in a Kaguya Ōtsutsuki costume, he jokingly licked a prop Fruit of the God Tree and lost consciousness. He awoke in another world inside the grievously injured, blinded body of the original Lin Chuan, inheriting that boy’s memories and emotions. 1 70

The original Lin Chuan was born to the Central River Lin Clan’s head and a maid. After Lin An damaged his eyes through excessive use of his dojutsu, the clan removed Lin Chuan’s eyes for transplantation into his elder brother and abandoned him to fend for himself.
