"I just hope they uncover the truth soon. Otherwise, our Asahikawa Branch won't have a moment's peace."

On the second-floor corridor of the Heavenly Defense Dojo, recent events had left everyone at the Asahikawa Branch on edge.

They were all terrified of being summoned for questioning by investigator Ishida Taiichi.

"Saintess!"

"Good day, Saintess!"

When Sakuragi Rin arrived in the corridor, the Metahumans immediately greeted her respectfully.

Some Low-Order Metahumans even bowed at a ninety-degree angle, only slowly straightening after Sakuragi Rin had passed.

"Judging by that direction, was the Saintess summoned by Ishida Director?"

"Looks like it. But it should just be routine questioning, right? How could Lord Kudo's death possibly have anything to do with the Saintess?"

Oda Yamashita was a Seventh-Order Grandmaster at the Heavenly Defense Dojo's Asahikawa Branch, one of the supervisors with considerable authority there.
