Civilization and Ability System

Blue Star's inhabitants awaken supernatural abilities at age sixteen and become Awakeners. Abilities are classified as elemental, enhancement, mental, recovery, natural, or special, and graded from F through SSS 1.

• Ability grades: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and SSS 1
• Metahumans: Awakeners who cultivate beyond their initial abilities and fight ferocious beasts.
• Historic danger: Beast Tides and Wilderness Areas once posed an ongoing threat to human civilization. By Xu Jingming's departure into space, the Beast Tide had effectively become a thing of the past 538 1154.
• Political structure: Blue Star formerly contained 107 nations, including six major powers—Great Xia, America, Bear Country, the European Union, Black Continent, and India 816 862. It was later unified under the Great Xia Empire 1191.

History

Earlier Civilizations and the Membrane

Available records extend only as far back as the First Civilization Era. Both the First and Second Civilizations were devastated after a Magma Giant Beast appeared at the height of their development 465.

During the Second Civilization Era, the Magma Giant Beast reduced the Jin Kingdom's population from 12 billion to under 2 billion in less than a month 465. The disaster was initially treated as an unexplained historical catastrophe.

Blue Star was also enclosed by an invisible membrane that prevented rockets, satellites, and Metahumans from leaving the planet or reaching the moon 465. The barrier was later revealed to have been created by a Molten Core Blood Dragon of the Demon Race, which used Blue Star as a long-term cultivation site for its clone secret art 1100.

Molten Core Blood Dragon Crisis

The Magma Giant Beast was ultimately identified as a Star Radiance-tier clone of the Molten Core Blood Dragon, whose true body had remained disguised as Blue Star's moon for tens of thousands of years 1100.

When Xu Jingming returned with his senior brother Jess, Jess killed the peak Star Realm demon beast and reconstructed Blue Star's moon to preserve the planet's tides and rotation 1185 1187. The immediate existential threat that had haunted Blue Star's civilizations was thereby resolved 1187.

Entry into the Interstellar Era

Following the Molten Core Blood Dragon's death, Blue Star began constructing a Star Tower to access the Star Spirit Quantum Network and formally enter interstellar civilization 1186 1187.

Blue Star was registered as part of the Noah Empire, giving it access to interstellar trade and legal protection under Imperial law 1192. Its rapid transition left even long-secluded residents shocked by the planet's technological and political changes 1191.

Interstellar Development

• Star Tower and network access — The Star Tower connected Blue Star to the Star Spirit Quantum Network, ending its previous isolation from interstellar communication and commerce 1186 1267.
• Blue Whale Company — An interstellar trading company managed by Liu Wei under Su Qingli and Ling Shuang's direction; it became part of Blue Star's early commercial expansion 1267.
• Solar System development — Xu Jingming directed investment into Blue Star's interstellar ports and trade centers, while planning the transformation of nearby planets for human habitation 1272.
• Off-world construction — Mars and Venus underwent visible reconstruction, including domed cities and energy shields, as part of the Solar System's expansion 1520.
• Resource support — Xu Jingming later provided 500,000 Crystal Yuan for Blue Star's defenses and weapons 1687.

Major Threats

Territorial Crisis

The Primordial Origin Realm appeared near Blue Star after being left behind by a fallen World Venerable. Before fully manifesting, it absorbed Origin Energy from the surrounding starfield; afterward, it began releasing pure Origin Energy that attracted powerful factions 1802.

Dominator families occupied orbital space throughout the Solar System, filling it with floating islands, warships, temporary cities, and ecological fortresses. Blue Star's planned migration program was halted, while native residents became afraid to leave the atmosphere or challenge the newcomers 1802.

After Xu Jingming retaliated against trespassing private armies, the Hall of Gods affirmed that a territorial lord may kill invading private forces without mercy. The Star Lord then issued a binding order recognizing the Solar System as Xu Jingming's complete private territory 1840.
