At the end of the month, August 33rd, a merchant caravan entered Iowa Valley from the Hindukush Basin, with Jenny Gallop traveling among them.
As the gates of Iowa Pass slowly opened and the convoy truly entered the eastern side of the mountain pass, Jenny's heartbeat gradually quickened. This descendant of the Fiat branch of the Gallop Family was returning to the homeland of the Gallop Kingdom for the first time in three hundred years.
"Such a huge divine statue!" From the rear window of her carriage, Jenny saw the enormous sculpture east of the hillside and immediately understood why the Tower of Purity held Landen Gallop in such high regard. Yet as the convoy traveled north, an even more prosperous sight unfolded before her.
At the southernmost edge of Iowa Town stood a circular plaza. At its center was a monument more than thirty meters tall, with sculptures of four Magic Beasts surrounding its base. Around the edge of the plaza stood over a dozen statues roughly ten meters tall—Elves, Humans, and Dragonborn alike.
A broad road extended northward from the plaza, dividing the town into northern and southern districts. The northern district was dominated by religious buildings, while the southern district was primarily made up of public structures.
As she traveled between several churches of the Ancient Gods, Jenny Gallop considered whether, if she met that Mr. White Wolf, she ought to admit that she was Mr. Sea Turtle. Should she attend this Sunday's intelligence meeting at the Temple of Commerce in town, or return to Abadi?
Yet as they passed more and more temples and churches, Jenny Gallop's expression gradually turned cold. "So many places have Magic Arrays? There can't possibly be a Magic Furnace here!"
