"What are you doing?" Blaze roared from beside him. The magic patterns across her horse's body turned into blazing flames in an instant, and a wall of fire surged forward to meet the bolts.

The rushing airflow altered the bolts' trajectories, while the intense heat instantly disabled the magic patterns on them. Driven by Blaze's fury, that wall of fire was faster and fiercer than even Wind Blade magic. By the time the few remaining iron bolts struck Landen, the gunners on the other side had already been reduced to ash.
