Inside Gallop Academy's school infirmary, all the students who had awakened their bloodlines that morning were now lying on one "earthen kang bed" after another. Most of the children had already regained consciousness and were telling the classmates beside them about their wondrous experiences that morning.
"Teacher Milady, you don't need to worry about us," Umoni said cheerfully to the teacher by the bed. "Aren't we perfectly fine? I feel stronger than before, and my eyesight is better too!"
"That's right, Teacher," Raccoon in the neighboring bed chimed in. "The beds here are amazing. Just now I thought this was only a pile of earth with beast hides laid on top, but I didn't expect there to be Life Magic Patterns on these hides!"
Milady smiled and patted the students' heads. She had also noticed the long row of earthen kang beds in the infirmary ward. When she had first brought the students in, she had inwardly mocked Gallop Academy's crude facilities, but on closer inspection, she discovered that this long earthen kang was actually some kind of magical device. At the center of the kang was a low-level Life Magic Array, and the beast-hide bedding atop it was also the fur of some kind of elementary Magic Beast.
When the children lay on it, they were like a wrung-dry sponge entering a basin of water, able to absorb mana to fullness very quickly. For a dozen or so children who had just awakened their bloodlines, this was practically specialized equipment.
Seeing that the students could already hop and skip around, Milady reined in her smile and said solemnly, "Starting tomorrow, all of you will have specialized training. Knight Wufi just told me that even on the autumn outing, you'll have to get up an hour early for morning practice!"
