That person was Uchiha Yue's old friend, Sasori of the Red Sands!
Even before Uchiha Yue had come to this Kirigakure war-supplies depot, he had known that Sasori of the Red Sands had already joined Kirigakure's faction. Perhaps Sasori of the Red Sands still had no idea that the one pulling the strings behind Kirigakure was Uchiha Madara, the future mastermind behind Akatsuki. However, Sasori of the Red Sands knew that the person he followed could help him take revenge. Thus, when Uchiha Yue began his journey of vengeance in the Land of Water, it was already the second time he had met Sasori of the Red Sands.
The last time Uchiha Yue had met Sasori of the Red Sands, Sasori had merely sent a puppet clone to face him. This time, however, the Sasori of the Red Sands standing before Uchiha Yue was his true body. Yet, just as in the original story, Sasori had completely lost his flesh-and-blood body. Using strange metals and a portion of White Zetsu's cells, he had remade himself into a humanoid puppet.
Then, beneath Uchiha Yue's watchful gaze, the remaining twelve Kirigakure Anbu ran up to Sasori of the Red Sands, panting heavily. Clearly, these Kirigakure Anbu already knew that they were no match for Uchiha Yue. Especially when Uchiha Yue had fought them head-on, his quasi-Kage-level strength, coupled with the ocular power of the Mangekyō Sharingan, had allowed him to utterly crush them in battle.
