Background / History
Wu Changkong was once Zhuo Shi's disciple at Shrek Academy. He left Shrek in anger and deliberately avoided news of his former sect, believing his master blamed him; Lin Chen later tells him that Zhuo Shi had always worried for him and hoped he would return. 33
He becomes the homeroom teacher of Eastsea Academy's Class 5, declaring that the class will be under his instruction for the next six years. He immediately establishes a combat-focused curriculum and subjects the students to demanding physical training. 17 18 19
Following Class 5's promotion success, Wu Changkong becomes the instructor of Eastsea Academy's Zero Class. He introduces Battle Armor theory, emphasizes technical fundamentals over reliance on soul skills, and uses himself and Lin Chen as practical-combat examples. 30
He supports his students' admission to Shrek Academy, arguing that delaying would make them miss Shrek's once-every-three-years selection. After their Eastsea graduation, he returns to Shrek and continues teaching the group. 51 53 63
Appearance
Wu Changkong is a tall, upright man most often dressed in white robes or a crisp ice-blue uniform. His cold, aloof demeanor and ice-blue hair make him immediately recognizable. 17 20 63
- Ice-blue hair, occasionally disheveled by Lin Chen's lightning. 20
- Usually wears white robes or simple white clothing. 26 45 105
- Carries the ice-blue Sky Frost Sword when fighting. 26 30

Personality
Wu Changkong is stern, concise, and uncompromising in class. He begins practical combat training on the students' first day, assigns extra work to the strongest student, and treats physical conditioning as a core requirement rather than a punishment. 18 19
His strictness is paired with clear responsibility for his students. He intervenes before Lin Chen's attack can harm Gu Yuena, Xie Xie, and Tang Wulin, personally protects them from Guang Biao, and refuses to blame them for standing up to a bully. 20 26
He believes growth must come through pressure and independent decision-making. He withholds Lin Chen as a tournament trump card so the other students must fight for themselves, and later refuses to provide tactical guidance during a match because the team must learn to rely on itself. 21 122
Although outwardly cold, Wu Changkong shows quiet pride in his students. He trusts Lin Chen and Gu Yuena during the Sun Moon Academy challenge and waits outside with visible approval after their victory. 88 89
