Xie Xie is stubbornly competitive and initially refuses to accept defeat, repeatedly challenging Lin Chen despite the vast gap between them. He can nevertheless acknowledge a loss and becomes friends with those he fights. 17 18

He is mischievous, curious, and exceptionally talkative. His teasing—especially of Lin Chen and Gu Yuena—frequently earns retaliation, while his recklessness has caused problems for the team, including provoking a Flame Lion King and invading Yuan'en Yehui's privacy. 37 46 68
