Background

Tang Wulin first met Yun Linchen and Na'er at a beach alongside his parents, Lang Yue and Tang Ziran. Though shy, he eagerly exchanged soul communicator contacts with Linchen and arranged to meet again. Unbeknownst to him, Na'er recognized the Golden Dragon King bloodline within him, while the divine consciousness known as Old Tang raged inside Tang Wulin's spiritual sea over Yun Linchen's disruption of a planned fate 14.

At Eastsea Academy, Tang Wulin entered Class 5 under Wu Changkong. He stood up to dormitory bullying, later narrowly defeated Xie Xie in their first spar, and became one of the class's stronger students 16 18. A golden phantom subsequently warned him that he needed to obtain three spiritual items before turning ten, making the burden of his bloodline—and the resources it required—more urgent 26.

He joined Linchen, Gu Yuena, Xie Xie, Wu Siduo, and Xu Xiaoyan in the newly formed Zero Class. Tang Wulin's strength increased through absorbed bloodline energy, while his work as a blacksmith became central to supporting himself and his team 30 31 63.

In Dragon Valley, the Dragon God's remnant soul attempted to force Tang Wulin and Gu Yuena into a fusion that would erase both of their consciousnesses. Tang Wulin chose to surrender his Golden Dragon King bloodline so Gu Yuena could survive. Yun Linchen extracted the Golden Dragon King's Divine Core, erased Tang San's divine consciousness when it tried to interfere, and merged the core into Gu Yuena.
