Yet Jinchuriki were not unique to the era of shinobi villages. There had been Jinchuriki ever since shinobi first existed. Throughout that long history, countless Jinchuriki had died violent deaths, but the Nine Tailed Beasts were still alive and well. They merely lost their form temporarily, and after some time, could "revive" once more.
