"Master Naruto, where are you going?"

"Quit nagging! Stop following me, you dirty old man!"

"Master, that's not right! I'm a gentleman. Lecherous? Absolutely not!"

"Nonsense! Weren't you the one who fainted from a nosebleed last time!?"

"Oh! Oh! Oh! Master Naruto, you promised you'd never bring that up again!"

On one of Konoha's main streets, two figures—one large, one small—were sprinting at full speed. Judging from their expressions and tone, they clearly knew each other.

Running ahead was a blond boy. In a manga called Naruto from another world, he was quite a famous character, known as one of Konoha's New Generation Twelve.

His name was Uzumaki Naruto, the son of the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato. His mother was Kushina Uzumaki, Konoha's former Nine-Tails jinchuriki and the current inheritor of the Uzumaki Clan.

Minato and Kushina's marriage was clearly different from that of ordinary people. As his wife, Kushina had not followed the customs of the ninja world by taking her husband's surname, instead retaining her own. And as the fruit of their love, their son had not taken his father's surname either, but his mother's.

To those in the know, this represented only one thing—this unbearably mischievous brat, who got into a fight with someone every other day, would become the next inheritor of the Uzumaki line.

Leaving Uzumaki Naruto aside, the man desperately chasing after him was also a relatively frequent supporting character in the original manga. His name was Ebisu, a renowned ninja instructor in Konoha's educational circles, an elite among teachers and a Special Jonin himself.

In the original story, his first encounter with Naruto had not been friendly. In this world, however, he had become Naruto's private tutor very early on. Of course, Konohamaru, that troublesome student, had not escaped him either. Simply put,
