History

Martial Revival and Earth Star

Great Qin emerged as humanity’s strongest surviving power during the martial era. When catastrophe struck Earth Star and many regions relied unsuccessfully on technological weapons, Great Qin produced the first Eighth Realm martial artist. This expert rapidly eliminated most non-human powerhouses, spread Great Qin’s martial system, and stabilized the global situation through overseas Martial Suppression Bureau branches. 71

Despite its strength, Great Qin did not annex every surviving country on Earth Star. Its population was needed for the far more dangerous extraterrestrial front; allowing other nations to hold their own territory prevented abandoned land from being overrun by exotic beasts. 71

Great Qin developed a nationwide cultivation structure, with cities outside major urban centers receiving limited seed slots for centralized genius-training programs. Chenyang City, for example, was one of many cities under Yunan Prefecture; Great Qin had thirty-six prefectures at the time. 3

Formation of the Modern Power Structure

In the early martial revival, local martial powers and aristocratic families carved out territories for themselves. Chen Xiao, the first Ninth Realm expert, used his mastery of spatial laws and extreme speed to eliminate these great families before they could react, then suppressed sects and led Great Qin onto the Outer-Heaven Battlefield. 229 251

Great Qin’s modern system became centered on powerful Warriors. High-ranking administrative posts were generally held concurrently by martial experts to reduce the risk of Alien Race manipulation, while Ninth Realm experts served as the state’s true rulers through their individual strength. 225 244

Outer-Heaven Battlefield

Great Qin’s main frontier territory on the Outer-Heaven Battlefield was defended by nine major legions. The legions formed an arc around its central holdings, contracting when enemies were strong and expanding when opportunities arose. 137

The state survived despite being surrounded by hostile races because its enemies were divided by competing interests, territorial disputes, and fear of retaliation from Great Qin’s Ninth Realm experts. 238

Following Chu Yuan’s rise, Great Qin rapidly surpassed its former position as a pressured frontier power. The Golden Bear Race and Wing Nether Clan submitted after being defeated, while the Water Cloud Clan and Feimo Clan became vassal races. 288 289

Qin Clan and Interstellar Expansion

After Earth Star’s connection to the wider universe, Great Qin’s population was formally integrated under the name Qin Clan. The Hall of Stars granted the Qin Clan a protected territory spanning one thousand light-years for 30,000 years, alongside cultivation resources and methods. 294 632

Great Qin later expanded beyond this initial grant. Many races submitted voluntarily with their territories, including the Naga Clan, while Marquis Longyue’s Moonwatch Empire declared loyalty to the Qin Clan. 631

Immortal Path Reform

Chu Yuan eventually ordered Great Qin to abandon martial arts as its primary cultivation system and adopt the Immortal Path. He established the Origin Palace Immortal Academy on Earth Star and the Great Thousand Immortal Academy in the wider universe, while creating foundational methods from Qi Refinement through Golden Core. 633

The decree met major resistance from established martial families, Elder Council members, and officials. Chu Yuan responded by executing disobedient officials and ordering the annihilation of elites who refused the Immortal Path, triggering rebellions and attempted declarations of independence. 636 637

Zhang Wenyuan subsequently led a broader purge of rebellious star domains. With time acceleration applied over Great Qin’s territory, universal cultivation was largely realized within several centuries of internal development. 638 639
