"When was this stuck on?" The Middle-aged Man held the Medical Record, his eyes wide. He hadn't felt a thing.
"I..." The Little Boy was terrified of his father and shrank behind his mother.
"I'm talking to you! When it's time to speak, you go mute!" The Middle-aged Man yanked The Little Boy from behind his mother, grabbing him by his small shirt: "Where was it stuck? When? What did the person who stuck this paper look like?"
"On the first floor, when we passed a ward, the door was half-open. I saw a hand reach out and stick this paper on your back." The Little Boy didn't know if he was more afraid of his father or that hand: "I wanted to warn you, but then a face appeared from behind the door. His skin was gray. He whispered to me that they were playing hide-and-seek and told me not to tell you."
"He told you not to say anything, so you didn't?" The Middle-aged Man raised his hand, barely stopping himself from slapping The Little Boy across the face: "What a useless brat, just like your mother. Sooner or later, you two are going to be the death of me!"
He looked at the paper in his hand; the crooked, scrawled sentence made his back feel cold.
"Come find me? I'd be an idiot if I actually went looking for you!" The Middle-aged Man crumpled the Medical Record into a ball and threw it on the ground. By some coincidence, the photo on the record landed face-up, staring right at him.
"Damn bad luck." He stomped hard on the paper ball and glanced toward the other side of the corridor: "The Monster on the road didn't follow us, so it must have given up. Let's go inside and
