The Shadow's True Strength

A faint, bloody scent drifted through the air. It wasn't raining outside, yet the red raincoat on the woman was soaking wet.

Black hair clung to her face, and droplets of water slid down her collar. The woman kept her head bowed as she entered the restaurant. She didn't look at anyone, simply finding a seat by herself.

"Let's stay away from her," Jia Ming whispered, immediately standing up to move to the other side of the table.

He hadn't consulted Li Zheng beforehand. As he stood up and brushed past him, others could clearly see Li Zheng holding a gun.

"Sit down and behave!" Li Zheng pressed Jia Ming back into his seat. He swept a glance at the Red Raincoat Woman out of the corner of his eye, then lowered his voice to ask Jia Ming, "Do you know her?"

"She's a lunatic. Everyone in this place wearing red is a lunatic. Don't go near her, stay as far away as you can." Jia Ming's body trembled slightly. "The Shadow told me this. If you want to die, don't drag me down with you!"

"Does red have a special meaning here?" Li Zheng still had many questions. He had sensed something was wrong since entering Liwan Town, but with so little information at his disposal, he couldn't tell if Jia Ming was lying.

"Red represents danger. Never go near it; that is the iron rule inside The Door." Jia Ming's voice grew quieter. "The Shadow isn't on me right now, but he has done many things using this body, which is why I know some secrets."

"Inside The Door?" Li Zheng noted down every word Jia Ming said. "Are there any other places to watch out for?"
