Seeing that everyone remained unimpressed, Wang Yan frowned deeply. He knew all too well that anyone who had actually toured Chen Ge's haunted house scenarios would never utter such "naive" words.
"Don't tell me you're all visiting this haunted house for the first time?" A very bad premonition stirred in Wang Yan's heart.
"Teacher Kurosaki and I just returned to the country. He's planning to pivot his career and challenge himself with a brand-new manga genre, which is why we came to the haunted house for inspiration," the Female Assistant whispered. She wasn't very brave; even before entering the scenario, her voice was already trembling. "We saw the high ratings for this place online and came straight here after getting off the plane. Are there some sort of procedures we need to handle before touring haunted houses in this country?"
"Don't listen to her nonsense. This place only has high ratings because a bunch of ignorant laymen are blindly hyping it up. The online popularity just proves the owner knows how to market," said the man who had entered with the delicate-looking man. "Compared to us—haunted house creators who pour our hearts into building scenarios, meticulously polishing scripts, and designing intricate mechanisms—this guy surnamed Chen is nothing more than a businessman."
"A businessman?" Wang Yan was almost amused to the point of anger. He desperately wanted to cover that man's mouth; if Chen Ge heard that, the difficulty level might jump straight to "no survivors."
"He's just scamming students like you. We've been in this business for years; we know the entire process inside and out."
The man wanted to continue, but the delicate-looking man cut him off: "Enough talk. If the actors inside hear you, it'll leave a bad impression. They might think we're here specifically to stir up
