"Back then, the statistics sheet Teacher Bai held clearly stated that there were 17 people in my class, teachers and students combined. But when I counted for myself, I found that there were 17 students alone! In other words, there had been one extra student in the class! There should actually have been 16 students! The student files had photos attached. Comparing them with his memories, Chen Ge quickly found five files in the archive bag. He had never seen any of those five people in class.

"Are there five people missing from my class?" Chen Ge quickly thought of something else. There were exactly five human-shaped shadows on the walls of Dorm 413, where he lived!

"Was it a coincidence? Or did those five missing people all end up as shadows on the wall?" Chen Ge flipped through the student files again and noticed another problem. "Why couldn't I find Xiao Lin's file?"

He looked through them twice, but still didn't see anyone named Lin Sisi.

"Could the extra person in the classroom back then have been Lin Sisi? In other words, me?"

Chen Ge recalled what the Nightmare Academy diary said about Xiao Lin. Since Xiao Lin liked playing pranks, the whole class had later played a joke on him.

"I think I understand a little." Chen Ge didn't say the rest aloud. He felt that Lin Sisi might not represent a person, but an identity.
