"Assuming the person who opened the door in the hospital room was Chang Gu, where did he go after entering the school?"
Chen Ge knew nothing about the world behind this door. The experience he had gained in Three-Star Scenes was useless here. But Chang Gu was different. He had spent years researching and investigating this door, and he also had the Left Eye that Chang Wenyu had brought out of Spirit Channeling School.
That eyeball could see things ordinary people couldn't. Having it was like playing with cheat codes enabled.
Chang Wenyu was Chang Gu's younger sister. Her body had become a vessel for the Scapegoat, but her soul should still be somewhere in the school. She probably wouldn't just stand by while her brother was in danger, either.
"If we rank the difficulty of this mission as difficult, extremely difficult, and hellishly difficult, then Chang Gu is playing the extremely difficult version, while I'm playing the hellishly difficult one."
He had started with nothing. The moment he opened his eyes, still dazed and confused, he had to face a deadly situation. He had no help, and there wasn't a single person nearby he could trust. Even so, Chen Ge had managed to carve out an opening for himself.
"If only I could meet up with Chang Gu. Then his help would be my help, too, and we could look out for each other."
Chang Gu might not have the best eyesight, but he was clever and good at hiding his abilities. He was definitely more capable than he let on.
"Once the Dark Shadow wakes up, I'll look for the Victim List. I'll observe Chang Gu from the shadows first and see how things are going for him."
Chen Ge never put all his eggs in one basket.
