Chen Ge had his own ideas. Using violence to fight violence was the simplest approach, but if he truly wanted the School Will's approval and acceptance from all the despairing children, violence alone wouldn't be enough.
"It might not work, but I'll give it a try."
Leaving the classroom, Chen Ge walked down the corridor with two backpacks in hand. Students hurried toward their classrooms on both sides, while he strolled along alone, relaxed and unhurried.
"Hey, do you know where the infirmary is?" The students at this school were unfriendly. Chen Ge had asked several of them before he finally found someone willing to show him the way.
"You're the new student in Class Four, right? I passed the administration office earlier and heard the teachers and the dean talking about you. They seemed to be planning to punish you." The girl guiding Chen Ge looked like a middle schooler. She wore her hair in a ponytail and was dressed very plainly.
"They're going to punish me?"
"I think they said you ignored the school rules and hit someone in class." As she spoke, the girl sneaked a curious glance at Chen Ge. "Is what they said true?"
"If I said it was, would you be scared?" Chen Ge kept smiling. He understood that the teachers had their own way of handling problems, but he didn't agree with it.
"No. I actually think you did the right thing. Those guys hang around with thugs from outside school and make a complete mess of the place. Someone should've dealt with them ages ago!" The girl had apparently been bullied herself. After talking for a while, she edged closer to Chen Ge and whispered, "I hope you'll be all right this time."
