Background / History

Naruto is the son of Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, the previous Nine-Tails jinchūriki. He learns this from Kakashi after Sasuke relays information originally provided by Uchiha Gen. The revelation confirms that Naruto is not the “Demon Fox,” despite carrying the Nine-Tails that killed his parents. 41

Rather than blame Sasuke for the Uchiha clan’s involvement in the Nine-Tails incident, Naruto insists that Sasuke should not be judged for another person’s actions. 41
