Background / History

Qian Renxue was raised under severe personal and political pressure. Her father died when she was nine, her mother Bibi Dong showed little care for her and at times killing intent, and she was sent to infiltrate Heaven Dou’s royal family while still young. As the false Crown Prince Xue Qinghe, she had to balance court politics, Spirit Hall correspondence, cultivation, and espionage with almost no personal freedom. 76 78 85

Huang Tian implanted a dream in her after meeting “Xue Qinghe.” When exhaustion finally forced her to sleep, she experienced visions of Huang Tian’s future achievements, relationships, and conflict with Spirit Hall. The dream initially leaves her bewildered, suspicious, and frustrated, but it also exposes her loneliness and desire to choose her own path. 78 79 80

After hearing a vision’s message about ambition and the “way of salvation,” Qian Renxue decides to pursue what she wants rather than remain bound solely by her assigned mission. She meets Huang Tian in the dream, learns that he had deduced her true identity, and eventually accepts a relationship with him despite his existing partners. 82 83 84

Upon awakening with memories of her past life, she recognizes that she has returned to an earlier point in time.
