Tang San awakens Blue Silver Grass in Holy Soul Village. Su Yuntao initially classifies it as a waste martial soul and records Tang San as having no innate soul power, but a second test reveals that he possesses Level 1 Soul Power. He then joins Lin Mo and Su Yuntao on their journey to the Soul Hunting Forest to obtain a first soul ring. 1

During the expedition, Tang San witnesses Lin Mo kill and absorb the ring of a four-hundred-year Single-Horned Fire Lizard. Using the Mysterious Heaven Skill and Purple Demon Eye, he recognizes that an unknown ferocious power within Lin Mo is devouring the ring’s energy; he prevents Su Yuntao from interrupting the absorption.
