Function & Opening

Jars are the Heavens Jar Shop's merchandise. Ye Yun describes their contents as encompassing cultivation techniques, Dou Skills, divine weapons, medicinal pills, spiritual herbs, pets, and other items from the myriad worlds 3 115.

• A purchased jar is opened by tapping or striking it; even Yao Yue opens one with a gentle tap 60.
• Upon opening, the jar shatters, its fragments dissolve into radiance, and the contained item appears on the counter 5 60.
• Contents are random and range from major opportunities to mundane objects. A Common Jar can yield an ordinary lighter, while other jars have produced cultivation pills, magical equipment, and artifacts 64 331 730.
• Items that raise cultivation may be consumed in the shop, but the shop's restrictions prevent the resulting breakthrough from occurring inside; the user must go outside to refine the energy 456.
• A jar can itself be a reward: Ye Yun once opened a lidded jar from one of his exclusive jars and initially mistook it for an unbroken container 26.

Jar Tiers & Purchase Rules

Before the upgrade, jars were sold for a uniform 100,000 gold coins each, and the shop initially limited sales to five jars per day 3 264. The later system upgrade removed the gold-only payment restriction and introduced the three-tier system 189.

• The value of a reward is not reliably indicated by its initial appearance; palm-sized Light Spirit Boots expand to fit their wearer, and an ordinary-looking broom can function as a flying vehicle 5 77.
