Background / History

Shingen is a transmigrator from another world. Six months before the story, he was struck by a truck and arrived in the ninja world with only fragmentary knowledge of Naruto. He initially regarded his Uchiha surname as the key to a secure life rather than a call to greatness. 1

Despite unideal Ninja Academy grades, he obtained a position in the Konoha Military Police Force, becoming captain of the South District 4 Third Squad. His ideal routine was uncomplicated: work patrol hours from nine to five, collect a salary, avoid dangerous missions, and use his Check-in Device to become stronger over time. 1

His confidence in a safe, stable life was shaken when Root agents targeted him and Shisui. Jiraiya's intervention saved them, but Shingen concluded that a peaceful life was only possible for someone strong enough to deal with any threat. He began serious training under Jiraiya while continuing his day job. 15 20
