Background

Little Goku lives on Mount Paozu, where the forest serves as his playground and hunting ground. He treats the Four-Star Ball in his home as his grandfather, bows to it before leaving to gather food, and initially has little knowledge of other people or ordinary worldly things. 22 24

While fishing with his tail, Goku is accidentally struck by Bulma's car. Believing Bulma and Zhou Zilong to be monsters stealing his catch, he attacks them until Zilong explains that they are human. Goku remarks that, apart from his grandfather, they are the first humans he has met. 23
