Background / History

Soya was a Dragon Ball fan in his former life. After falling asleep while watching Dragon Ball Daima, he transmigrated and became a Saiyan on Planet Vegeta sixteen years before the story’s opening. Though born with a Battle Power of 5, he was unable to progress beyond 300 through ordinary training. 1 33

A month before joining Vegeta’s squad, Soya accompanied Bardock’s group to Planet Cereal on logistics support and activated the Negative Emotion Point System. The system converts others’ negative emotions into lottery draws that can grant Battle Power and special items. 1

Aware that Frieza intended to destroy Planet Vegeta, Soya sought to escape by joining Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz on their mission to Planet Beast. His recently raised Battle Power of 600 secured his place in the group despite Nappa’s contempt. 1

Cui and Battle God Water

After Cui defeats Vegeta and kills Carnegie and Kuri, Soya decides against immediately using Battle God Water himself because of its unknown side effects. He instead manipulates Cui into consuming it, allowing Cui’s power to reach 170,000 before it crashes to 1,700 an hour later. 17 18 22
