Zhu Tingyu first appears as Lin Xia's Bronze-ranked opponent, deploying Elemental Mech and attacking with Absolute Zero. Their battle ends after Lin Xia disrupts her healing and defeats her at the last moment. 7 8

Imperial University Class Sorting

During the freshman class-sorting free-for-all, Zhu Tingyu joins Liu Yucheng and Wu Ziyang in attacking Lin Xia. After Wu Ziyang is eliminated, she faces Lin Xia directly; both combatants fight at OVR 82, and neither uses the other's known weakness to force a victory. 10 11 12

Artificial Secret Realm Incident

Zhu Tingyu participates in the dangerous Secret Realm excursion. Though severely injured, she refuses to abandon her dying partner and searches for Lin Xia immediately after escaping before collapsing from exhaustion. 26

Qin Tianyu Challenge Tournament

Zhu Tingyu calculates Lin Xia's level from the Secret Realm incident and later researches Qin Tianyu's cards, transformation, Nightmare Entanglement, and combat footage for him. 38 39 40
