Background

Ye Ling was a gamer from Earth who transmigrated into the body of Uchiha Ling, a previously bottom-ranked Uchiha Academy student. He awakened the Emotion System alongside his Sharingan, allowing him to collect Emotion Points from others’ feelings and exchange them for techniques, bloodline enhancements, and mastery upgrades 1 2.

Ling rapidly overturned his reputation at the Academy. He tied Namikaze Minato in the midterm practical examination, gained the recognition of Hyuga Hiashi, and later surpassed Minato to win the graduation examination 2 22 23. His essay on the Will of Fire also impressed Hiruzen Sarutobi, establishing him early as a potential bridge between the Uchiha Clan and Konoha 3.

After defending Kushina from bullies, Ling became one of her closest companions. Ling is calm, observant, and highly strategic.
