Just a few minutes later, Zhang Tie emerged from the crevice, clapping his hands, without so much as a hair out of place. As for those masked men, not a single one of them ever came back out.

More than ten minutes later, a figure swiftly slipped into the crevice and arrived at the spot where Zhang Tie had encountered those men. At that moment, all that remained there was a ground full of corpses. Every corpse was still masked, but each and every neck had been twisted, their faces staring at their own backs. The sight made the investigator's heart jolt. To kill people this way meant that before that man, these people had been no more than chicks. The gap in strength was simply too vast.
"Damn it!" the figure who had entered cursed, though a chill still crept into his heart. After looking around and seeing no one, he turned and quickly left.
Over the course of the entire day, Zhang Tie hunted another forty-odd Wilderness Giant Wolves. Though forty-odd kills was not much, Zhang Tie was fairly satisfied. It was only after night fell that he returned to the camp where the various tribes had gathered.
When Saren and the others saw Zhang Tie return to the Gray Eagle Tribe camp after wandering outside all day, their expressions turned rather unpleasant. Seton, however, visibly let out a sigh of relief when he saw Zhang Tie.
"You didn't run into any trouble, did you?"
"I ran into a few masked petty thieves, but I took care of them all!"
"It's good that you're all right!" Zhang Tie made it sound so casual that Seton did not ask further.
"Right, how did your discussions go today?"
"We've basically settled it.
