The outskirts of the Devilized Puppet Legion camp controlled by the Sainer Family had few defenses. Apart from several rows of chevaux-de-frise, presumably brought in from outside and placed around the camp perimeter, the entire camp was a dense sea of tents as far as the eye could see. It looked like one of the tribal settlements on the Ice and Snow Wilderness.
Braziers stood at intervals throughout the camp, while a few crude fluorite stones had been set up here and there. Not far from the camp lay a lake of lava. Under the combined illumination of these three light sources, the area of the camp nearer the lava lake was somewhat brighter, while the areas farther away lay in a hazy gloom.

But as a warrior rather than some pampered young master, such a trial was nothing to Zhang Tie.
